THE: The "Theoretical Humor Enzyme" student organization at the University of Southern California.

LFH: "Lord Flieghund" - formerly of the Inner Sanctum until I discovered that someone already had something called the Inner Sanctum.

DFL: Literally, "Dictator-For-Life." 8^)

ESQ: Esquire, but only an aspiration, not an actual title. (dammit)

ETC: et cetera.
